A space infused with a sultry character for a couple that loves to entertain.

At Northcliffe, our mandate extended beyond just delivering a beautiful-looking domestic space for these first-time homeowners. Through this experience, we helped guide our clients to discover their style and how personal design choices can make the house truly feel like their home.
During our consultation, my clients expressed they wanted a “neutral and timeless” space. Breaking free of conventional limitations, our goal became to get to the heart of their style and show them that this can be achieved with character, depth and layers.
The result is a home that caters to their love of entertaining while imbuing a sultry atmosphere and sophisticated character.
In the dining room, a carefully chosen mix of organic finishes set the scene for a cherished geranium painting by friend of the homeowners, Béatrice Côté.
The core of our Northcliffe project was the coffee and cocktail lounge. What started as a tricky space just off the dining room became one of the most stimulating parts of the home for this young couple who loves to entertain.
Here, we focused on creating an alluring and atmospheric transitional space. Sophisticated yet playful, the lounge achieves its sense of duality with a seductive verde marble counter from Arta Ceramics, wood cabinetry and a custom-built banquet with floral upholstery by G P & J Baker for G P & J Baker.
In the foyer, we chose a lavish botanical wallpaper by Cole and Son Wallpapers and moss green millwork, that adds a whimsy reverie to a normally overlooked space.
