Tucked away in the heart of Montreal’s Mile-End neighbourhood is Beauties Lab, a retail beauty space that offers skincare treatments and makeup services.
Here, we explored the notion of Eternal Spring to impart the spirit of renewal and growth that springtime brings. A layering of a dreamy and earthy palette, warm light and organic shapes come together to create a sense of wonder. The piece de resistance - a permanent floral installation and bouquets by Studio Sveja - brings Eternal Spring to life.
As you enter Beauties Lab, you’re welcomed into the heart of the space. Part reception, product counter, makeup station and waiting lounge, the area was devised to in a layout that is well-divided yet harmonious. The goal was to create a flow while still maintaining a sense of intimacy that’s needed for each area to serve their main function.
Nods to Eternal Spring are trickled throughout to create a sense of wonder while discovering the space. Moss green, lilac, scarlet and burts of tangerine punctuate the environment found in the reception, treatment rooms and powder room.
